Kell's Chili BBQ Sauce/ Nacho Dip

Chili BBQ Sauce/ Nacho Dip

You will need
150g tomato paste
50g tomato sauce
2 tsp white wine vinegar
2 tsp lemon juice
2 tbsp oil
2 tbsp soy sauce
10g sugar
pepper & salt & tabasco to taste
chilies – depends on how hot you want it/ what you have - perhaps 5 birds eye or 2 jalapenos or 5 Hungarian Hot Wax/ Anaheim
garlic - 3-4 cloves chopped finely
1 onion

  1. · mix tomato paste, tomato sauce, white vine vinegar, lemon juice, oil and soy in a bowl
  2. · add sugar, freshly ground black pepper, salt, and a dash of Tabasco
  3. · cut the chilies lengthwise in half and remove the seeds
  4. · if you like it extra spicy use the seeds - but be careful
  5. · dice the chilies finely
  6. · add to the sauce and stir
  7. · mince the garlic and finely dice the onion
  8. · mix well

  • This sauce can be stored for several days in the fridge
